Only the appearance of one Zemurian woman, Sifar Saberah, is known. She was almost identical to women of other human species, such as the Zaltzi or the Earthlings. She had yellow-tan skin, brown hair and red blood.[3] Later copies of Saberah created by the Gatlantis Empire displayed unique characteristics not present in the original, such as pointy ears, and white hair that fused with her eyebrows, in a similar manner to many Gatlanteans.[1] A copy made specifically to infiltrate the Earthlings was devoided of these modifications, and looked remarkably more similar to the original Saberah with the exception of a more caucasian skintone and black hair. She also had grey eyes instead of the original Saberah's purple ones.[2][4]

History[]

The Zemurians were a human species originating from the Archelias civilization. They had some degree of knowledge of their progenitors, being aware of their existance and the Ark of Destruction.[3]

The Zemurians created the Gatlantean race, a species of artificial humanoids, to use them as slaves and soldiers. They put a taboo in place over creating more advanced models that closely resembled actual humans, but the taboo was eventually broken, leading to the development of the Type Zworder. As expected, the more developed Zworder refused to serve as a slave like the other members of his race, and he rallied them against their overlords. Sifar Saberah, a Zemurian woman sympathetic to their cause, became Zworder's wife, and the two began raising a young Type Zworder clone as if he were their son. This was considered shameful by the other Zemurians, who decided to take Saberah and the child hostage to blackmail Zworder into revealing his forces' gathering spot in a desperate attempt to stop the Gatlanteans' advance. However, even after the Gatlantean sovereign complied, they killed both hostages.[3]

Zworder's forces were wiped out, and he and his surviving brethren fled the planet to search for the Ark of Destruction, a superweapon left behind by Archelias. However, they could not awaken the Ark, as the Gatlanteans did not recognize themselves as humans. To activate it, Zworder created a copy of the late Saberah, complete with her memories, but despite all the suffering she had been subjected to in life, Saberah couldn't bring herself to doom all humanity. Relentless, the Emperor continued to create copies of his wife, limiting her memories more and more until she finally subjected herself to his will.[3]

The Ark's first target was planet Zemuria, which was captured into the superweapon, wiping out its inhabitants.[3] For a thousand years, the Gatlantis Empire would be centered around the Ark of Destruction, its mobile capital, piloted by copies of Saberah. However, these copies would inevitably reawaken their lost memories, prompting Zworder to kill and recreate them constantly.[4] In 2203, a copy was created to infiltrate the Earth Federation. She, too, regained the memories of her past when she was told the history of the Zemurian people by a pair of ancient AIs. Zworder ultimately decided to create a copy of his late wife equipped with an emotional inhibitor, which essentially made her a doll devoid of all will.[5] All copies of Saberah died during the Golem Assault Battle, rendering the Zemurian race extinct.[6][7]

Culture and Society[]

Technology[]

The Zemurians had a vast knowledge in the cloning field, being capable of creating an entire species and modify it to their own ends. The Type Zworder, the most advanced Gatlantis model, could even use telepathic waves. The Zemurians also had spacefaring technologies.[3]

In terms of archtecture, Zemurian buildings were characterised by an intricate wire-like design, and by decorative crystals and geometric patterns that would be inherited by Gatlantean designs years later. They also made use of demonic heads as decorative elements in interior design.[3][8]

Language[]

The Zemurians had at least one written language. It would later be inherited by the Gatlanteans.[3]
