The Weapons Development Agency is an office of the Greater Garmillan Empire's Department of Armaments[3] that is in charge of developing the latest technology for use by the Imperial Defense Force. The agency was led by Welte Talan as Director of the Department of Armaments during the Desler administration.

The Instantaneous Material Transporter was developed by the Weapons Development Agency
Under the Desler regime, the Weapons Development Agency was involved with the creation of multiple armaments and technologies for the Imperial Defense Force. Under Minister of Armaments Welte Talan, the agency developed the Desler cannon, the first garmillan wave-motion energy-based superweapon. It was also involved in the development of the Instantaneous Material Transporter, a prototype technology capable of teleporting small, non warp capable vehicles over small distances, which was granted by the Minister to Col. General Domel for a battle against the Earthlings.[1][4][5][6]

Following the fall of Desler and the disappearance of Secretary Talan, the Weapons Development Agency continued to serve the Greater Garmillan Empire. It began an Astro Battleship-carrier Development Plan which eventually lead to the development of the Special 1st Class Astro Battleship-carrier Deusura III.[2][7]
