Admiral Valsey was one of Emperor Zwordar’s most trusted and formidable battle fleet commanders within the White Comet Empire.
Biography[]
Admiral Valsey was put in charge of the White Comet Empire's main warfleet, stationed at Procyon and Sirius and thus missed by the Yamato during its journey to planet Telezart. As Gatlantis approaches Earth’s own Galaxy, Admiral Valsey's fleet begins its advance on the Solar System, routing Earth's defenses and very nearly driving home the invasion, thanks to the main weapon of Valsey's flagship Medaluza, the Flame Direct-hit Gun, an extremely powerful wave motion gun which fires into a teleportation field which was demonstrated effectively during the Battle of Saturn. However, commander Ryu Hijikata of the battleship and flagship, Andromeda, leads him and his fleet directly into the rings of Saturn, where the weapon proves to be a liability, and his fleet is completely annihilated by the now reorganization of the Earth fleet. During his final moments he orders his crew to have his flagship Medaluza turn around to face the Earth fleet head on. His flagship Medaluza is quickly out matched and outgunned, being quickly destroyed by the Earth fleet’s combined and overwhelming firepower that sends him to his grave, but before he dies he asks his majesty Emperor Zwordar for forgiveness upon his failure.
Personality[]
Admiral Valsey was extremely loyal to Emperor Zwordar. He was not at all afraid of the Earth fleet when they had wiped out his carrier fleet during the Battle of Saturn. During the battle with the Earth fleet led by Andromeda, Admiral Valsey even taunted and laughed at Earth’s feeble resistance, even showing arrogance and overconfidence once he realized too late that he had greatly underestimated his enemy. In his final moments he realized he had no other choice but to commit one final desperate kamikaze attack against the Andromeda, when he realized that there was no chance of escape, refusing to retreat, knowing that he’d be punished if he returned in defeat, preferring to take his enemies with him. When his flagship failed to kamikaze ram the Andromeda, and bridge of his flagship in flames all around him, he collapsed begging the great Emperor Zwordar for forgiveness before perishing soon after.
