The Unification War was a conflict fought between the many noble families and royals of Garmillas from 2096 to 2170. The war ended with the creation of the first Garmillan planetary state, the Garmillas Grand Duchy.[1][2]
The war[]
In 2096, the head of the influential aristocratic Desler family set out to unify Planet Garmillas, which up until than had been divided among various feudal lords. The war would last 74 years and end with the foundation of the Garmillas Grand Duchy at the hands of Erich Vam Desler. During the conflict, Erich's nephew Mathius Desler became famous for his exploits and heroics, which earned him the nickname "Hero of the Unification War".[1][2]
