The UN Space Defense Committee was an organ of the United Nations in charge of overseeing the United Nations Cosmo Force and invested with the power of declaring a state of war. In 2191. following the Uranus Surveillance Station's detection of a fleet of alien warships at the edge of the Solar System, the Space Defense Committee took their presence as an act of aggression and ordered to open fire on them. This decision would lead to the Great Garmillas War.[1]

- The uniforms worn by the committee's members resemble that of Heikuro Todo as Chief Administrator of the Far-East District and later Earth Defense Force Commander-in-Chief, it's possible it's just the standard uniform for United Nations high-rank personnel.[1]
