The Type Zworder was the most advanced Gatlantean type created by the Zemurians. Individuals of the type led the Gatlantis people from their rebellion against their overlords to the fall of the Gatlantis Empire in 2203. The type's larva body took the name Mil, the adult the name Zworder, and the elder the name Gairen.

Overview

The Type Zworder was the most advanced Gatlantean model ever developed, originally meant to be used for espionage missions. It had a neural network capable of projecting Cosmo Wave, a form of high-dimensional psychic communication which it could use to control troops on the battlefield, as well as a complex mental structure, and massive memory capabilities. Unlike other Gatlantis types, a Type Zworder's memories could be passed down through generations via cloning.

History

The creation of the Type Zworder dates back to before 1203. The Zemurians initially considered its development to be a taboo, as the Type Zworder's unique set of ability would make it trascend its status as engineered slaves and made them almost human in nature.

As expected, these heightened mental ability made the first Zworder refuse his position as a slave, and he organized a revolt to free his fellow Gatlanteans. He preached that Gatlantis' nature as an artificial species that didn't have the necessity of love between the two sexes to procreate made them the ideal dominant race. However, despite his philosophy, he fell in love with Sifar Saberah, a Zemurian woman sympathetic to the Gatlantean cause. Together, the couple began raising a young Gatlantean of the Zworder Type, Mil, as if he was their son. Eventually, the Zemurians captured the woman and child, and used them as leverage to force Zworder to reveal the location of his troops. However, even though Zworder complied and gave them the information they needed, the Zemurians killed Saberah and Mil anyway.

Emotionally destroyed and militarily defeated, Zworder took the surviving Gatlanteans with him and fled Zemuria. The Gatlanteans went on to build the Gatlantis Empire, and the original Zworder was replaced by a younger clone of the Zworder Type and took on the name Gairen. With his new name, he also became Intelligence Record Secretary and advisor to his successor as Emperor. This would become the praxis for all of Gatlantis' history. The empire then awakened the Archelias Ark of Destruction and embarked on an omnicidal campaign against all human species, determined to destroy love from the face of the universe.

Gairen sacrifices himself to protect Zworder

The last Zworder was Emperor by 2202. His Mil was tasked to be his spokesperson and served as his observer aboard the flagship of Supreme Leader Abelt Desler. After confronting with a Terran Lieutenant, Mil had an epiphany on the Gatlanteans' own humanity and tried to convince the Emperor to put a halt to the empire's campaign, but he was accidentally shot down by Desler's men. The last Gairen died by throwing himself in front of Zworder to protect him from a stray shot during the Golem Assault Battle. This series of events ultimately led the Emperor to accept his humanity, but instead of stopping his omnicidal rage, Zworder decided to use this new ability to reactivate the Ark of Destruction himself and fuse with it to continue fighting alone. He was stopped by the combined effort of the Earthling battleship Yamato and the goddess Teresa on June 2 in 2203.
