Tsurugi (CAS-777) (つるぎ, Tsurugi) was a Murasame-class Space Cruiser in the United Nations Cosmo Navy in the late 2190s. Daisuke Shima, future Chief Navigator of the Yamato, was assigned to Tsurugi on April 21, 2198. He was promoted to Navigation Officer on September 7, before being transfered to Kirishima on November 10.[4]
Tsurugi participated and was destroyed in the First Battle of Pluto, where the First Fleet was used as a bait so Amaterasu could reach Mars with the Wave-motion Core.[1]
