Teresa, often referred to as Teresa of Terezart, is a higher-dimensional being revered as a goddess by multiple cultures across the universe. She was born after the ascension of the Terezartian race and possesses the unique ability to see the flow of time from beginning to end. Using this insight, Teresa has guided humans toward the best possible outcomes for the future for untold millennia.
During the peak of their campaign to exterminate all human species, the Gatlantis Empire attempted to take control of Terezart and Teresa. In response, in 2202, the goddess summoned the Earthling space battleship Yamato to her planet, marking the beginning of the Gatlantis Campaign. This conflict concluded in 2203 when Teresa descended into the universe through a gap created by the Yamato's Wave-motion Engine and obliterated the Ark of Destruction through the battleship.

More than a thousand years into the past, the Terezartians, having reached the peak of civilization and knowing how to control the power of the human soul freely, ascended into a higher dimension, where they merged into a single entity giving birth to Teresa.
As a being residing in the higher dimension, where time is physical like the other spatial dimensions, Teresa could witness the entire course of time from beginning to end, including all possible past and futures. While unable to physically interact with the universe, Teresa began interacting with mortal humans, guiding them by showing them the path toward the most optimal future she could forsee. She did so by calling them through her Cosmo Wave, a method of telepathic communication. The Cosmo Wave and her messages became known as a prayer throughout the universe.
She became known as a goddess to various cultures, with many interstellar civilizaion having literature depicting her and records of the ones she had called, since before they could travel through space.
Many exploratory missions attempted to locate Terezart, the original homeworld of the Terezartians and the site of the Terezarium, the sanctuary where Teresa could manifest herself. However, none were able to find the planet.
