Tarō Ishida (石田太郎 Ishida Tarō, born March 16, 1944) was a Japanese actor and voice actor from the city of Kyoto. On September 21, 2013, he collapsed on the set of Single Aristocrat from a heart attack and died 3½ hours later.

Ishida attended Sophia University as a Spanish major, but dropped out. He was a chief priest at the Jōdo Shinshū Buddhist temple Jōkei-ji at Kanazawa, Ishikawa.[1]
