Yurisha's status aboard Yamato. Edit

Yurisha wouldn't count as a member of the Yamato crew. In "Out of the Forest of Memories," Okita directly states it while making a ship-wide announcement: "There is a rumor about an Iscandarian aboard this ship. It is true. But she is not a crew member. She is asleep in the automatic navigation room." She was serving as the core of the navigation system, with the ship's computers directly accessing her memories for information about the route to Iscandar. Instead of being a navigator making conscious decisions about navigation, Yurisha was more like a piece of equipment. -- BlueResistance (talk) 02:36, August 24, 2014 (UTC)

I would agree were it not for the fact she was alive and and after she awakens(Inside Misaki and after the Battle at the Rainbow Star Cluster) she serves as an advisor for the crew and she actively works with Kodai and more or less serves as a diplomatic officer aboard the ship after the rainbow star cluster. For those reasons and not for navigation, okay. -- BlueResistance (talk) 11:53, August 24, 2014 (UTC)
