Note about name[]
Even though Anime News Network lists the character as "Dotem Goehin," this appears to be a mistake conflating the original and 2199 versions. All online references to the name in Japanese (ドーテム・ゲルヒン) point exclusively to the 2199 character, and the name is not mentioned anywhere before 2012. -- BlueResistance (talk) 01:18, January 20, 2015 (UTC)
- It is true he was never named in the original series, but The Space Battleship Chronicles: The History of Space-Roman Animation calls the character 下品な将軍 (the vulgar general). So we do know his rank at least. evan1975 (talk) 17:30, January 21, 2015 (UTC)
- Okay. Do you want to change the name of the page to "Vulgar Gamilas General" or keep the current name and just mention his rank?
