I was watching the Ark movie and when Sabera came on screen I noticed that she had pointy ears like the Jirel race. Have any other female Gatlantians been seen, since the only male members of the species appear, and they have round ears like Humans, Garmillas and Zaltis. Does this mean that more Jirel survived and is Sabera a member of the race? Johnatha (talk) 04:46, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
- One of Zoellik's slave women might be Gatlantean, but I have not seen anything confirming it or even commenting on the possibility, so we're only left with Sabera (for now). It's a pity that all the Prison Planet 17 rioters were male.
- Beyond the ears, though, Sabera also seems to have paler skin than the others. We could be looking at gender differences, or racial variation among Gatlanteans (like humanity's different races and ethnicities), or both. She definitely isn't pure Jirellan, but she might be half Jirellan--it would explain both the skin (imagine gray and green mixed) and the ears. It would also explain why she seems to have knowledge of the World of Tranquility. -- BlueResistance (talk) 18:02, February 25, 2016 (UTC)
- It's possible that she could half Jirelian, we will just have to see when season 2 comes out later this year.
- However I don't think we have enough evidence to say she isn't pure blooded Jirelian, since Celestella is a pure blood and physically appears to be a younger than Sabera, along with the fact that she has yet to appear in the flesh, only via hologram which seem to have a color effect(like how Dessler comes out with a green tint on Garmillan holograms during his speeches) which may explain the skin tone difference.
