Holy leader Skulldart shows a visual representation of the Spacetime Node
A Spacetime Node, also known as a Spatio Temporal Node, is a singularity that connects disparate points in space and time. It can be visualized as a tunnel with two ends at separate points in spacetime. According to Dezariam, in the future of the 32nd century, the existance of Spacetime Nodes was purely theoretical, but after a century of research their existance was confirmed with the discovery of a Spacetime Node found within the Sea of Torment.
Description[]
A Spacetime Node (or Spatio-Temporal Node)[1] is a singularity[2] that connects two distinct points in both space and time. However, the conditions at each end of the node cannot be artificially controlled.[2] By the late 3190s, according to Dezariam, only one Spacetime Node had ever been discovered,[2] and it consistently led to the early 2200s.[3]
Using phase energy-based technology, it is possible to "fix" a Spacetime Node, ensuring that time flows uniformly on both sides by synchronizing the time axes.[3]
It's impossible for a vessel equipped with a Wave-motion Engine to travel through a Spacetime Node.[4]
History[]
After the emergence of a spatial rupture near the remnants of planet Saturn in the year 2798, Earth—now known as Dezariam—began searching for ways to seal it. By the 32nd century, the existence of a Spacetime Node within the rupture was theorized and confirmed after a century of research.[3]
Various unmanned explorations of the Spacetime Node were conducted, followed by a manned mission. This mission confirmed that the node led to the galactic core approximately a millennium in the past. In 3197, Dezariam successfully fixed the Spacetime Node, synchronizing the flow of time on both sides using phase energy.[3]
Instead of finding a permanent solution to close the spatial rupture,[2] Dezariam planned to travel back in time in 3198 to seize planet Iscandar, which their records indicated would have been destroyed regardless. They intended to bring Iscandar to their present and use its Cosmo Reverse System to repair the rupture. However, this plan was thwarted by the combined forces of the Garmillan Desler fleet and the Earthling 65th Escort Corps after Dezarian forces time-traveled to October 2205.[3]
In response, a second operation was devised, this time aimed at changing history by preventing the opening of the spatial rupture. Dezariam intended to travel back to Earth in the year 2207 to execute this plan. This ultimately led to the Dezariam Invasion of Earth.[3]
