Space General Shino Todo (藤堂信乃, Shino Todo) is a senior commander of the Earth Federation Defense Force, currently serving as Intelligence Department Director for the Intelligence Department. She's a central figure among the Dezariam sympathizers, working with exponents of the Earth Federation's political and bussiness world to convictedly push for Dezariam's return to the Earth. She's the sister of the current General Commanding Director of the Defense Force, Heikuro Todo.[1]
Biography[]
Shino Todo was born on Earth on December 28, 2148, the younger sister of Heikuro Todo. She eventually joined the ranks of the Earth Federation Defense Force and became the Director of the Intelligence Department, while her brother became the military's General Commanding Director. Between 2205 and 2207, she entered in contact with the alien faction Dezariam, and became a central figure among their sympathizers. She worked closely with exponents of the Earth Federation's political and bussiness world to convictedly push for Dezarium's return to the Earth.[1]
In October 2207, as the Dezariam space fortress called the Ground Reverse approached the Earth, she had a phone call with Kozo Nanbu, president of Nanbu Heavy Industries and another leader of the Dezariam sympathizers. As Heikuro and his faction unleashed a secret operation to counter the Dezarian invasion, Nanbu told her it was her people's fault for not seeing this situation coming, and that she had to be ready to shed blood for it now, Todo reassured him that half of the high-ranking staff members at Headquarters were on their side and that they would handle things. He reassured him that they would force Heikuro to reveal the truth behind the "fragments of Iscandar".[3]
She later attempted to get the General Commanding Director to surrender via phone call, to no avail. She thus personally led her forces to confront him, taking him hostage together with his deputy and seizing control of HQ,[3]
