Salezar, also called Sanzar, is an M-class red dwarf star 148,000 lightyears from Earth, with about half of the Sun’s mass. There are 5 planets orbiting it, 2 of which are in the habitable zone (the twin planets Iscandar and Gamilon) in the third orbit, the gas giant Epidora in the fourth, and 2 unnamed, but presumably rocky, planets in the first and second orbits respectively. The Salezar system has been controlled by both the Iscandarian and Gamilon Empires, and was the destination of the Argo’s first mission.
