The SUS Empire are an enigmatic, unrelenting, extremely xenophobic, highly aggressive, and technologically advanced empire that appeared as the Main Antagonistic faction in the 2009 anime film Yamato: Rebirth, [which was a planned addition to the original SBY series].

Technology[]
Presumably a great power in their own right, their will and firepower was unmatched when the SUS invaded the Sol System which resulted in the full control of the Great Urup Interstellar Union of Nations soon after. It remains completely unknown as to when exactly the SUS Empire was formed [possible prior to 2220] but from what is known is that: "they're an unjust power that hides behind the ideal of Peace" meaning that they have been ruling through mass genocide and murder on countless worlds that they have enslave all under the false name of Peace.
The SUS Empire has advance Warp tech [like the Denguil] has allowed them to warp in and quickly overwhelm their enemies, as shown during the devastating Attack on the 1st Migration Fleet, when the SUS Empire sent thousands of ships that mysteriously showed up seemingly out of nowhere.
As for weapons, SUS warships and ground vehicles are all armed with dead accurate Heavy Neutron Beam weaponry. The SUS Fortress also carried a much larger version of this weaponry that could potentially destroy entire planets. ("Space Battleship Yamato: Resurrection")

The SUS Empire's own fleet is extremely powerful and versatile in their desire to conquer or enslave innocent worlds. The primary fleet color scheme of most SUS warships primarily consisted of a crimson red and grey color scheme. ("Space Battleship Yamato: Resurrection")

- Maya - The Maya was formally the personal flagship of Commander Metzler and the second largest ship of the Greater Urup Interstellar Alliance barring the Dimensional Fortress itself, the Maya's towering form was regarded as the alliance's will made manifest. All orders transmitted from the Maya were treated as orders of the Alliance command itself, whether it be judge, jury, or executioner. Nominally built with such authority for the purpose of righting terrible wrongs and bringing peace in its wake, the ship's actual use was that of pure subjugation. Brutal suppression campaigns and insidious plots to keep members of the alliance in check by way of terror were the hallmark of the Maya, as it would assert dominance over all it presided over by commanding a veritable fleet of SUS battleships to raze entire populations should they step out of line. The towering ship met its end without a single shot fired from its colossal array of neutron cannons, however, when the Ethos fleet saw the SUS Empire's betrayal of Amare for what it was and brought the ship burning down in a mutually destructive act of defiance.

- SUS Battleship - The SUS Battleship was the mainstay standard ship of the line for the majority of the SUS Empire's naval forces. These small, powerful warships possessed a formidable main battery of high powered neutron canons, and powerful forward facing fixed neutron cannons as well. These ships were relatively fragile though as they are very easily destroyed by the shock cannons used on EDF ships. Despite being identified as Battleships, the SUS Battleship acts more as a Cruiser type vessel due to it's speed, maneuverability, and fragile armor.

Allies of the SUS Empire (Great Urup Interstellar Alliance)[]
The SUS Empire has also had had developed an uneasy yet strong alliance with many, yet mostly unwilling worlds being forced to do the SUS Empires twisted bidding all in the name of peace. These are all of the known worlds that have allied with or withdrew their alliance with the SUS Empire.
Fridel Navy
Very little is known about the Fridel People, except that they're presumed to be a space faring race. It is also unknown if they even have a home world.
Beldel Navy
- Heruteru-type Battleship (The bizarre looking top shaped Beldel Battleship is the mainstay capitol ship, and only warship of the reclusive Beldel people that functions both as a frontline battleship and a reliable carrier.)
- Beldel Fighter (The Beldel Fighter is the mainstay fighter deployed by the Beldel. It has a blu-ish-indigo-ish color scheme, and is armed with a single laser machine gun, has retractable wings, and a dragonfly look in appearance.)
Ethos Navy
The Ethos People are an honorable warrior race that has a bushido samurai honor and warrior code that resembles that of humanitie’s own. They were the first to rebel against the SUS Empire when Ethos fleet Admiral Gouri became disgusted by the SUS’s unjustified killings of Amare civilians.
- Segal-type Ethos Heavy Battleship (This is a much larger, more powerful, and modified version of the Standard Ethos Battleship. The most notable vessel of this type was Admiral Gouri’s personal flagship Segal, until it’s destruction when it rammed into the flagship Maya, destroying both vessels.)

Amare Navy
The Amare were once a proud culture that once had a powerful fleet. Unfortunately for them, the SUS took the leadership role as the head of the Great Urup Interstellar Alliance. The Amare were forced to grovel and give resources to the SUS Empire, which allowed them to be protected. They even let them keep and operate their Amare Navy ships, but had their weapons stripped down. Queen Iriya of Amare throughout her life saw the many horrible and terrible atrocities the SUS has inflicted on many worlds and she wished that her people be free from the unfair tyrannical rule of the SUS and become independent. The Amare are one of the few benevolent races in the Great Urup Interstellar Alliance (alongside planet Ethos) to ally and side with humanity, during the Earth-SUS War in order to defeat the evil SUS Empire once and for all. After the war was over, both Amare and Earth coexisted peacefully with the other alliance members in order to create a brighter future, and rebuild together.
- Pascal-type Amare Battleship (General Pascal commanded a modified version of the Standard Amare Battleship which led the remaining Amare Fleet ships during the final battle against the SUS Empire. Pascal’s flagship was unfortunately destroyed while protecting the Earth battleship Yamato from the SUS Fortresses Heavy Neutron Beam super weapons, via Amare shields which saved the Yamato from destruction. Fortunately, General Pascal’s heroic sacrifice had successfully convinced both the Fridel and Beldel fleets to abandon the SUS to their fate.)

- The SUS Empire was actually heavily based off of the United States of America, back then when they used to be xenophobic towards Japanese Immigrants during the start of World War II in the 1940's. During World War II, the United States forcibly relocated and incarcerated at least 125,284 people of Japanese descent in 75 identified incarceration sites. Most lived on the Pacific Coast, in concentration camps in the western interior of the country. Approximately two-thirds of the inmates were United States citizens. These actions were initiated by a reluctant president Franklin D. Roosevelt via an executive order shortly after Imperial Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor.
