The Rookie Crew Rebellion[2] was a short-lived mutiny initiated by the Earthling space battleship Yamato's cadets led by Warrant Officer Domon Ryusuke. It was fought in response to the Earth Federation's refusal to send military aid to the Desler fleet and the Greater Garmillan Empire during the Iscandar Incident. Despite the failure of Domon's plan, Yamato's commander, Susumu Kodai, already had the intention to fight alongside Garmillas. Thus, the battleship joined the conflict regardless.
