The Rapid-fire Turret is a unique type of beam cannon[1] which was in use in the Gatlantis Astro Fleet. It came in a large variety of sizes and was equipped on all Gatlantis warships and even on the Deathvatator fighter.

The Rapid-fire Turret was unique to Gatlantis warships. It focused on inflicting as much damage as possible on the enemy by "spreading" a large amount of fire power instead of firing each shot accurately.[2] It came in a large variety of sizes depending which it could serve either as a primary, secondary or anti-aircraft gun.[3]
It's disk-shaped and has ten built-in quadruple beam cannons.[1]
