The Queen of Planet Iscandar was the monarch and head of state of Iscandar. Stasha Iscandar served as the last Queen of Planet Iscandar from before the year 1800 until 2205.
History[]
The office of the monarch of Iscandar has existed for millennia, with the Iscandarian royal family ruling over the Iscandarian civilization since long before they ventured into space.[5]
Stasha Iscandar ascended to the throne[5] as Queen of Planet Iscandar[6] sometime before the 19th century.[7] Her reign marked a significant shift in Iscandarism, the guiding ideology of Iscandar aimed at spreading salvation throughout the universe. This transformation moved away from achieving salvation through the forced transformation of civilizations into crystallized elements stored inside the Sanctel, towards a more genuine assistentialism—helping civilizations in need.[5]
Stasha became the last monarch of Iscandar when she self-destructed the planet at the conclusion of the Iscandar Incident on October 24, 2205.[4] This resulted in her death, the death of Third Princess Yurisha Iscandar, and the demise of all Iscandarians stored inside the Sanctel.[8]
Behind the scenes[]
Stasha's style "Her Eminence" (猊下, Geika) is—in both its English and Japanese translations—used to refer to priestly figures, reflecting the religious reverence the Garmillans have for the Iscandarians. It's changed to a generic "Her Royal Highness" in the English dub.[2]
