The Pormelia Class Astro Assault Carrier is a type of fighter carrier in the Imperial Garmillas Astro Fleet.
Armaments and Technical Specifications[]
The Pormelia Class carrier is 383.8 meters long, 291.3 meters wide, and 50 meters in height. It has three twin missile launchers and a large caliber laser cannon on the ventral side.[5]
Pormelia class ships carry DWG229 Melanca strike fighters and FG.156 Sumaruhe reconnaissance aircraft.[6][7][8][9]
History[]
The Pormelia Class was originally built by an unknown alien civilisation which was conquered by the Greater Garmillan Empire and was thus integrated in the empire's military.[10]

A Pormelia Class carrier based in Earth's solar system investigated the secret launch site of the new battleship Yamato in early 2199. It bombarded the camouflaged Yamato, but was quickly destroyed.[6][7]
Around hundreds of the Imperial Guard Pormelias participated in the Alteria suppression massacre by launching squadrons of DWG.229 Melanca Astro Fighter/Attacker and firing large caliber lasers to bombard the planet's cities.[8]
Three Imperial Guard Pormelia participated in the Battle of the Imperial Capital by launching 43 of DWG.229 Melanca but were destroyed by Yamato's Cosmo Zeros and Cosmo Falcons.[9]
