The Pleiades-class Assault Battleship is a class of battleship of the Dezariam Army that participated in the Iscandar Incident and the Dezariam Invasion of Earth.
Armament and Technical Specifications[]
The Pleiades-class Assault Battleship is the backbone of the Dezariam Army. Unlike the modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship, does not have mobile wings. However, it has a hull nearly double that of the Hyades-class Destroyer, has auxiliary machinery on the bottom of the hull separate from the main engine, and has a control room on the bottom of the hull separate from the bridge at the top.[2] It is equipped with Phase modulation armor, but its defensive power is slightly inferior to that of the modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship due to its power output.[3]
It launches fighters from an opening in the bow.[5] It has a gliding compartment inside that is the same as the modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship, and fighters are charged with energy when passing through the compartment.[3] It's main armaments are three heavy nucleon turrets equipped with multiple torpedo and missile launchers as well as various anti-air guns.[2][3]
History[]
In 2205, various Pleiades-class Assault Battleships were part of Deda's fleet, and were dispatched to capture the planet Iscandar after Garmillas was destroyed, and took part in the Iscandar Incident. Many of them were destroyed in the Battle in the Vrozon System.[6][7]
The remaining Pleiades-class Assault Battleships and Hyades-class Destroyers were wiped out along with Supreme Commander Meldarz and the Autoplanet Golba when Queen Stasha had Iscandar self-destruct.[8]
Multiple Pleiades-classes are deployed in the Invasion of the Ground Reverse in October of 2207. Some targeted the Earth Federation Air Force Unmanned Fleet. Some of the ships would also make an attack on the supply carrier Asuka, and forced the Ginga to crashland in Baleras III on the Moon.[9]
