The operation to rescue Supreme Leader Desler[2] was an operation carried out by the Desler fleet and the 65th Escort Corps near and on Iscandar, and the final battle of

the Iscandar Incident. Queen Stasha Iscandar made a deal with Supreme Commander Meldarz to hand over Iscandar to Dezariam, in exchange of handing the entire Garmillas Immigrant Fleet over to the Garmillas-Earth Joint Forces.[3][2]

The Battle[]

However, the battle was begun once again to buy sometime for Captain Kodai, Domon, Tasuke, Miyako, Heiji, Caroline, and Yabu, to launch the prototype submarine Cosmo Hound to rescue both Stasha Iscandar and Yurisha Iscandar along with Sasha Kodai, the newborn from Mamoru Kodai and Stasha Iscandar. Moeldars noticed this, and tried to capture the Cosmo Hound using Gorba’s nets, but the Cosmo Hound had managed to narrowly, but had successfully managed to escape. Desler’s flagship managed to free itself from Gorba and withdrew. After the rescue, Stasha triggered the explosion to destroy planet Iscandar along with both Gorba and Moeldars, but at the cost of both Queen Stasha and Yurisha being faded away after Stasha met once again with Desler onboard his flagship for the very last time.

Aftermath[]

Before they faded away Yurisha Iscandar gifted the Yamato crew an infant half Human-half Iscandarian Sasha. Afterwards both Susumu Kodai and Desler said their farewells before both of their fleets peacefully departed, promising to meet again. The Desler Fleet and surviving immigrant ships began heading towards their newly adopted homeworld, while the Yamato’s 65th Escort Corps headed on back to Earth. Unfortunately, while enroute back to Earth, captain Shiro Sanada and lieutenant Niimi onboard the Hyuga make an alarming discovery and a dark secret that brought out more disturbing questions as to who exactly are the Dezariam.

Notes[]

  • The battle is referred to as the "operation to rescue Leader Desler" in the official subtitles, due to the different translation of Desler's title.
