Needle slave transformation

Both of the Needleslave's forms

The Needleslave can transform from flight form to a semi-humanoid ground battle form, and can perform antipersonnel attacks using the needle launchers equipped in both arms. These launchers fire stakes that are just under 1 meter long.[6] It can be attached to an aircraft’s bomb frame in its dagger-like flight form, and can also be launched from a torpedo tube. The back armor plate at the bottom of its fuselage can be removed to become beam reaction armor capable of deflecting an enemy’s positron beams.[5] A an artillery type variant, equipped with four beam cannons on both arms, is thought to have existed.[6]

Originally, multiple units were linked together to form a protective shield made of beam-reflecting armor, and were intended to support other ground weapons and space ships. However, by utilizing its autonomous action function, the Needleslace became an anti-personnel and anti-material attack weapon, becoming Gatlantis’ main force in ground battles.[6]
