The Modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship is a battleship class of the Dezariam Army modified from the Pleiades-class Assault Battleship. Its design is older than the Grodez-class Annihilation Battleship, and it was commissioned as part of the conventional fleet operation system.

The Modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship is a heavily altered version of the original Pleiades-class Assault Battleship. It features a saucer-shaped hull with a bridge structure that resembles a spire. Instead of having attitude control thrusters positioned around the hull for rapid direction changes, it utilizes stacked attitude control units on the sides of the hull, functioning as maneuvering wings. As a result, it offers greater maneuverability than both Earth and Garmillas warships, despite its massive size.[1]

The Modified Pleiades-class vessel is equipped with Phase Modulation Armor, allowing it to partially neutralize positron beam attacks. In terms of weaponry, it is significantly more armed than the standard variant. It features three heavy nucleon turrets, four anti-aircraft turrets, six missile launchers, and fourteen torpedo launchers.[1][2]
The role these massive ships play in the Dezariam's fleet is that of flagships of small fleets under a Golba Class, similarly to the standard Pleiades-class.[5] Modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleships can carry multiple Assault Fighters Caterpillar and other types of fighter craft.[1][2] The Caterpillars are deployed from the main forward facing hanger bay mounted on the front of the ship.[6]

The Great Pleiades was the first Modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship. It was commanded by Deda and deployed as part of the Meldarz fleet within the framework of the Iscandar Transfer Plan. During the Iscandar Incident, the ship engaged in combat against the Desler fleet and the 65th Escort Corps, ultimately being destroyed in the Battle in the Vorzon System.[6]
The Galliades in 2207
Despite the changes in naval tactics employed by the Dezariam Army between the Iscandar Incident and the Dezariam Invasion of Earth,[5] the Galliades, a second Modified Pleiades-class Assault Battleship was constructed. This ship served as the flagship for General Kazan,[2] the commander of the 2207 Earth Occupation Forces.[7]
