The Mars Area Army was a United Nations Cosmo Force area army under Space Defense Command active during the early Great Garmillas War. In 2198 it participated in the Second Battle of Mars, where it suffered massive casualties. Its remaining assets and personnel were transferred to the Homeland Air Defense Corps. It included the 343rd Air Wing[2]
