The Lunar surface defense drone is a defense drone of the Imperial Garmillas Defense Force assigned to protect the Garmillas Empire's Embassy on Earth located on the Moon.
Armament and Technical Specifications[]
The lunar surface defense drone has a shape very similar to the Melanca Fighter/Attacker of the Great Imperial Garmillas Astro Fleet. It's equipped with an autonomous maneuvering system which allows it to be completely unmanned. They are rather small and flat, ten of them could be stored underneath the special Czvarke fighter assigned to the Garmillas Embassy on the Moon.[2]

Multiple lunar surface defense drones were stationed in the territory of the Greater Garmillan Empire's embassy to the Earth Federation, located on the Moon. In December of 2202,[3] UNCN Lieutenant Susumu Kodai violated the embassy's territory to meet with the Garmillas ambassador Loren Burrell in secret. He was immediately attacked by the defense drones, but his craft was protected by Ensign Akira Yamamoto of the Lunar Squadron. Yamamoto later took the blame for the destruction of the drones, claiming she had destroyed them after they had attacked her for accidentally trespassing on the Embassy's territory.[1]
Later, Lieutenant Klaus Keyman took 10[2] lunar surface defense drones with him as he joined the battleship Yamato on its journey to Terezart, he used them during the Golem Assault Battle.[4]
