The Lunar Garrison[1] was a United Nations Cosmo Marines garrison stationed on the Moon at the UNCF Moon Base during the Great Garmillas War. In early 2199, the Moon Base was attacked by the Teron Attack Force of the Greater Garmillan Empire, and the Lunar Garrison was almost entirely wiped out. The few survivors of the 7th Space Cavalry Regiment were rescued on February 11[2] by the Cosmo Navy flagship Kirishima and joined the Far-East District capital's security forces.[3]
