Living dead body

A living dead body was a resurrected corpse created by the Gatlantis Empire. Gatlantis used living dead bodies as spies and infiltrates among their enemie. They could be controlled remotely via Cosmo Wave, sometimes even by Great Emperor Zworder himself.

Living dead bodies were resurrected corpses controlled remotely by the Gatlantis Empire via Cosmo Wave.[1][2] A living dead body retains the consciousness of the individual it was before its death and may even be unaware of being a vessel for Gatlantis.[1] Much like Gatlantean soldiers, living dead bodies are equipped with a self-destruct mechanism.[2] The only way to cut off the empire's control from a living dead body, as well as any other Gatlantean, and avoid its self-destruction, is by making it undergo a radiation shower. However, this process also dramatically decreases the living dead body's life span.[3]

History[]

Redrauz living dead body

Redrowz was turned into a living dead body

Various living dead bodies were created by the Gatlantis Empire during the Battle of the eleventh planet. One, professor Robert Redrowz, was put directly under the control of Great Emperor Zworder, and used by the monarch as a vessel to communicate with Lieutenant Susumu Kodai;[2] three corpses were infiltrated on Garmillas ships carrying the 11th planet's refugees during the Battle on Planet Stravase, and used to detonate the ships' engine sections;[4] one last living dead body, Second Lieutenant Hajime Saito, was used as an unwilling spy for Zworder aboard the battleship Yamato.[1]

Saito discovers he's a living dead body

For the majority of the Gatlantis_Campaign, Saito unknowingly relayed his battleship's strategies, position to Gatlantis, and other information.[5][6] Saito eventually discovered his nature as a living dead body after a group of Needleslaves refused to execute him. He subsequently absorbed radiation from Yamato's Wave-motion Engine to be cut off from the empire's control.[1][3]
