Yamato nearing Carell 163
Carell 163 is a rotating neutron star lying outside the Milky Way Galaxy, less than four light years from the Beemela system.
In 2199, the Garmillas general Erich Domel drove the space battleship Yamato toward Carell 163. The neutron star's crushing gravity prevented Yamato from warping to safety, setting up an ambush of the Earth vessel.[1]
