Humans or humanoids[2][3] are a group of sapient, bipedal species, inhabiting all of the known universe including the Milky Way Galaxy and the Magellanic clouds. Most human species are believed to have originated from the ancient Archelias.[1] It is presumed that all human life throughout the universe traces its origins back to this civilization.[4] A cataclysmic war between the Greater Garmillan Empire and the United Nations resulted in a significant surge in human technological advancements[5][6] and marked the beginning of a new power dynamic between different human species.[7]

Biology[]

The different human species have both differences and similarities. The humans are based on DNA, which is nearly identical for the Garmillans and the Earthlings, except for skin color.[8] They have bipedal anatomy with two legs and two arms. The main distinctions between human species are their hair, skin, and blood color, as well as the shape of their ears.[1][9][5][10][11][12][13]

Humans reproduce sexually and have two sexes, male and female. The only known exception is the extinct Gatlanteans, who reproduced exclusively via cloning due to their unique status as an artificially constructed race.[14] Almost all known human species are mammals, with the extinct Beemelians arthropods being the only exception.[3]

Known human species[]

2199 Alterians

Alterians in their final moments

Alterians[]

Homeworld of Alteria. They have red skin. At some point, they were brought under the Greater Garmillan Empire. Due to a large number of Alterians rebelling against Garmillas rule in 2199, the majority of Alteria's surface was destroyed by the Garmillas Imperial Guard.[15]

Beemelians[]

Extinct; homeworld of Beemela 4. A species of arthropods[3] which had developed primitive technology by the 19th century. They were visited by the Iscandarians, but died out about 70 years after encountering them.[16][17]

Earthlings[]

Earthlings 2205

Earthlings on Earth in 2205

Homeworld of Earth. They are the newest species to reach a technological level allowing them to meet with their human brothers. They first met the Garmillas at the start of the Great Garmillas War. They are united under the Earth Federation and, up until the end of the 22nd century, the United Nations.[9]

Galmans[]

Homeworld of Galman. They have blue skin and purple blood. As of 2205, Galmans were living in suppression and poverty due to their homeworld being relegated as a backwater resource station of the Bolar Federation.[12][18]

Garmillans[]

Original homeworld of Galman. They are a subspecies of the Galmans, and as such have blue skin and purple blood. The Garmillans called planet Garmillas their homeworld and were subservient to Iscandar. By the mid 22nd century the Garmillas people have been united under the Garmillas Grand Duchy and Greater Garmillan Empire ruled by Abelt Desler.[9][19]

Gatlanteans[]

Artificial, extinct; Gatlanteans were a green-skinned, orange-blooded warrior-servitor race created by the Zemurians. As of 2202, the Archelias-constructed Ark of Destruction was their home. They reproduced by cloning and their ultimate goal was to destroy all human life.[1][20]

Starsha Yurisha

Iscandarians[]

Extinct; homeworld of Iscandar. They were in possession of a very high level of technology even when compared to Garmillas. With Garmillas as their binary planet, Iscandarians had Garmillans as their servile race. In 2205 all Iscandarians perished in the destruction of their homeworld.[9]

Terezartians[]

Transcended; homeworld of Terezart. Existing well over a thousand year into the past, they were able to transform the unlimited power of the soul into physical energy, granting them nigh limitless power. They eventually transcend their mortal bodies, becoming mental entities, giving birth to Teresa.[21]

Terezart denizens[]

Homeworld unknown. They have grey skin and red blood. As of 2202, a large group of them were eliminated by Gatlantis. It is unknown if their species and civilization spawned on Terezart, or if they were pilgrims from a different homeworld.[7]

Unnamed human species[]

They have green skin and magenta blood. Despite their green skin, they are unrelated to Gatlanteans. As of 2205 they were in control of their own vast interstellar nation known as the Bolar Federation.[12][18]

Zaltzi[]

Homeworld of Zaltz. Identical in passing to Earthlings and have red blood, the Zaltzi capitulated after first contact with Garmillas and were brought into the Greater Garmillan Empire as default second-class citizens.[22][6]

Zemurians[]

Extinct; Homeworld of Zemuria. The only known Zemurian had yellow-tan skin and red blood. Zemurians were destroyed by the Gatlanteans they created.[20]

Zirel[]

Homeworld of Zirel. They have light grey skin and red blood, and are unique for their high birth rate of telepaths.[23] The majority of Zirels were eliminated when their homeworld was invaded, but at least two Zirel girls were brought into the Greater Garmillan Empire. As of 2199, the Archelias-constructed Celestial Ark, Shambleau was the new home of at least dozens of surviving Zirellans.[6][1]
