The Helvestia is a modified[3] Medarusa-class Heavy Annihilation Battleship commanded by Zants Zurvival as flagship of the Zurvival Land Division.
Armaments and Technical Specifications[]
In addition to the typical weaponry and defenses equipped on the Medarusa-class, Helvestia is armed with a Reflective Satellite Cannon, built by Garmillan science slaves. It was used by Zurvival in his attempt at destroying Yamato, but it proved to be much inferior to the original garmillan design.[1]
History[]
Zants Zurvival and his Land Division were deployed by Gatlantis to guard the occupied planet Terezart. On March 26, 2203,[4] the Gatlantean commander used the Helvestia to inspect the Terezarium, at that moment the terran battleship Yamato led an operation to liberate the Planet.[1]

Following its attack against the Gorland Fleet, stationed in orbit of Terezart, the Yamato moved in to demolish the rock encasement that Gatlantis had set up around the world. Zurvival aboard Helvestia detected two terran officers setting up excavators to destroy the artificial crust and fired the Helvestia Cannon to stop them. However, a portion of the cannon's reflective satellites had been destroyed in the previous attack, so the shots' accuracy was greatly diminished.[1]
Upon noticing the enemy's usage of a garmillan weapon, Admiral Ryu Hijikata of Yamato also ordered Lt. Klaus Keyman of the Garmillas Embassy to destroy the system by hacking into the primary satellite. With the satellites out of commission, Zurvival moved Helvestia to attack Yamato's space cavalry component that had landed on the rock crust.[1]

Helvestia moves in to attack the Space Cavalry directly
Space cavalry commander Hajime Saito attacked Helvestia alone. He fought against Zurvival in hand-to-hand combat on Helvestia's bridge, mortally wounding him. After the fight, Zurvival committed suicide by dropping himself from the bridge and blowing himself up.[1]
