The Great Battleship was the mainstay battleship class of the White Comet Empire's fleet.
Specifications[]
Sitting at a length of 310 meters, a width of 87.7 meters, and a weight of 63,000 tons, the Great Battleship is the most numerous vessel in the fleet, and is deployed in virtually ever unit of the White Comet Empire's mighty space navy. Well armed and powerful, it is armed with missiles and numerous rotational laser cannons.
It also carries a large crew and functions well as a troop carrier.

Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato (Alternate Timeline)[]
Many Great Battleships were present during the conflict between Earth and the White Comet Empire. The last of the Great Battleships were all destroyed during The Battle of Saturn. ("Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato")
Space Battleship Yamato 2[]
When the White Comet Empire began there invasion of Earth's solar system after conquering the entire Andromeda Galaxy,the Great battleship was among their many vessel utilized for their invasion of the solar system. The Great Battleships were seen in almost every battle of the Earth-White Comet Empire War conflict.
During the Battle of 11th Planet, Admiral Cosmodart Nazca had several of these Great Battleships, that served as his flagship's escorts. All of them were wiped out and destroyed by the space battleship Yamato's vastly upgraded and improved firepower.
Many Great Battleships were part of Admiral Valsey’s fleet that attempted to invade Earth’s Solar System, but were all destroyed in the Battle of Saturn.
When the White Comet Empire had finally reached Earth itself, Emperor Zwordar ordered that Razera be allowed to deliver the ultimatum to Earth headquarters. Razera soon set out on his personal Great Battleship, while accompanied by Destroyer escorts that were quickly met by Earth's few remaining defense satellites. The defense satellites weapons did nothing at all to the White Comet Empire fleet, as they quickly swept aside the defense satellites and flew over Earth's cities, reaching the main headquarters of Earth itself, where Razera delivered Emperor Zwordar's message personally. When the Earth President asked if they could talked this out peacefully, Razera departed on his personal flagship and was transported back to Gatlantis where he reported to Emperor Zwordar and his entire court on Earth's answer. Sabera immediately laughed this off thinking that the humans were being silly at still refusing to surrender. Emperor Zwordar decide make good on his terms for surrender by ordering Gatlantis own weapons to decimate a good chunk of Earth's own moon as an example of their power. This in turn force the humans to surrender.
However, Razera's Great Battleship and the other surviving Great Battleship's were all presumed destroyed when Gatlantis was finally destroyed and the White Comet Empire was wiped out for good that ended with the death of their leader. ("Space Battleship Yamato II")
