The Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency, also known as the Garmillas Forces Intelligence Department,[4] is an intelligence agency of the Greater Garmillan Empire active by 2202 under the empire's Department of Internal Affairs. The organization played a central role in the latter part of the Garmillas Civil War and in the campaigns against Gatlantis through one of its top officers, Loren Burrell.
Organization[]
The Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency was the primary secret service of the Greater Garmillan Empire, taking the role of the Central Intelligence Department under the Department of Propaganda during the Desler administration. Like its predecessor, it's organized as part of the Imperial Garmillas Defense Force but is under the control of the Department of Internal Affairs and its Secretary.[4][3] The Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency operates an Internal Affairs Division.[3]
A position within the organization is Investigator, Lieutenant Klaus Keyman served as Investigator for the Internal Affairs Division during his undercover mission within the Desler Regime Revivalists.[3]
History[]

Burrell alongside the leaders of the UNCF in December of 2202
The Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency was founded in the aftermath of the fall of the Desler administration and replaced the Central Intelligence Department.[1] Loren Burrelll, Ambassador to the Earth[5] and signatory of the peace treaty that followed the Great Garmillas War,[6] became one of the highest-ranking officers within the organization.[3]
Burrell gives Keyman his mission
With the rise of various factions opposing the Garmillas Provisional Government,[3][7] Burrell embarked on a mission to uncover the leader of the Desler Regime Revivalists, a terrorist group that had infiltrated the military and aimed at restoring the fallen dictatorship. In 2202,[2] he tasked his military attachée, Ranhardt Desler, the nephew of the former Eternal Supreme Leader of Garmillas, Abelt Desler, to infiltrate the Revivalists' ranks and gain their trust.[3][8] Desler, under the alias of Klaus Keyman, boarded the Earthling battleship Yamato, which was embarking on a journey to Terezart, with the plan of betraying the crew and sabotaging the ship, which would grant him the trust of the Revivalist Faction.[7][9] Through his actions, he discovered the identity and location of the terrorist leader, Hydom Gimleh, the thought-to-be-dead former head of the Imperial Guard. Immidiately after uncoveringthese pieces of information, Keyman revealed them to Burrell, who then relayed it to the Secretary of Internal Affairs.[3] Under Burrell's directive, the Garmillas National Security Police managed to arrest Gimleh, causing his organization to fall apart.[10]

In May of 2203,[2] Burrell took command of a large fleet of warships, leading them into the Gatlantis Campaign alongside the forces of the Earth Federation.[11] He took part in most battles against the Gatlantis Empire in the Solar system, becoming the most notable Garmillas commander in the conflict.[11][12][13] Keyman also participated in the war aboard Yamato, eventually losing his life during its last battle.[14]
