Galman (GAlman, Galman),[1] alternatively spelled Garmann (GARMANN, Garmann),[2] is a planet located in the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy. It's the home planet of the Galman human species and of their splinter group, the Garmillas.
About 50 years before 2205, Galman was conquered and occupied by the Bolar Federation and was turned into a backwater resource station, the native population were effectively turned into slaves for the Bolars. In 2205, after failed negotiations, the planet was liberated by force by the Garmillan Desler Fleet.
The planet has since become the center of the interstellar nation Galman-Garmillas.

Position[]
Galman is located in the Galman System, within the Sagittarius Dwarf Galaxy, which orbits the Milky Way. The planet has its own sun and moon, with the moon featuring its own oceans.
Biosphere[]
Galman's environment is similar to that of planet Garmillas, even though the two worlds have different climates. Galman is the original homeworld of the Galman species, which can only thrive in its unique habitat. This environment was later replicated on Garmillas by the Iscandarian civilization.
Geography and climate[]
Galman has a cold climate, and its terrain is predominantly mountainous. The planet has large bodies of water on its surface. From space, Galman's atmosphere appears to have a dark cyan hue.
History[]
Iscandarian came to planet Galman to abduct selected group of Galmans to become Garmillans. They left behind their civilization during selection, including their own Astro Battleship. Only Shalbart Iscandar remained in the planet to lead lead the Galman people.
In 2207, when Yamato crew pushed their wave motion core to a critical level, the reaction reacted to various Iscandarian ruins on planet Galman, leading to discovery of Iscandar's legacy.
