The Earth Empire refers to the nation of Earth around the period between the 25th and 28th centuries, according to the future history outlined by the Dezarians. This federal entity was formed after Earth absorbed various interstellar nations within its sphere of influence, during a time known as the Galactic Warring States period.[1] By this era, Earth was governed by the Unlimited Strategy AI "Dezariam" <ver. 1.0>,[1] which was completed in 2384. This artificial intelligence was eventually superseded by Mother Dezariam, which became operational in 2541.[2]
The Earth Empire was characterized by a heavily militaristic stance and promoted diplomacy through the extensive use of Wave-motion Guns, ensuring the survival of Earth civilization and the Earthling race during an age of conflict.[1]
In 2798, a spatial rupture occurred near the Sea of Torment, the former location of planet Saturn. This rupture was the result of the extensive use of Wave-motion Guns during the Battle of Saturn in 2203.[2] An unknown type of matter flowed out of the rupture, spreading across the solar system and causing immense damage, nearly destroying planet Earth and making it uninhabitable. As a result, the solar system ceased to be a habitable environment, and only those who had undergone mechanization survived. Consequently, Earth's imperial hegemony dissolved, and the Earth Empire came to an end. From the remnants of the ravaged Earth Empire arose its successor state, renamed Dezariam. The new nation quickly regained prominence among other interstellar nations.[1]
