The Earth Defense Forces,[1] also referred to as the Earth Defence Army,[2] is the military arm of the Earth Federation.

History
In the year 2199, the planet Earth was contaminated from ongoing attacks by the the Gamilas Empire. During the war, Earth's defense ships were outmatched and outgunned by their alien enemies, and one by one Earth's space fleets were obliterated.
