Earth Defense Force Headquarters, also named the U.N.F. Far East H.Q.[2] or Far-East District Headquarters[3] and sometimes refered to as Earth HQ[4] or Defense Command Headquarters,[5] is the headquarters of the Earth Federation Defense Force, the Earth Federation Cosmo Force, and the Earth Federation Cosmo Navy by 2202, and the location of the Central Command Center.[6]
It's located in the New Capital and is the seat of Earth Federation Defense Command.[5][1] General Commanding Director Heikuro Todo and his deputy, General Kotetsu Serizawa, tend to direct battles and operations from the Earth Defense Force Headquarters.[1][7][8] The building also holds meetings regarding strategic plans for future operations and meetings with investors.[9][10] It doubles as the headquarters for the United Nations Forces' Far-East District.[2]
Staff officers work at Earth Defense Force Headquarters and it has its own security department. Lieutenant Toru Hoshina served as HQ's Head of Security between 2206 and 2207.[11]
