Planet Dezarium, is the forbidden Dark Nebula Empire homeworld that serves not only as the main home planet of the entire Dezarian race, but it is eventually revealed to be a utterly massive mechanical near indestructible man-made super-fortress in space that was the largest artificial construct ever encountered by the crew of the space battleship Yamato.
History[]
Planet Dezarium was the primary goal of the crew of the Yamato when the Dark Nebula Empire invaded Earth.
A huge wave of energy from the Earth Battleship Yamato's wave motion gun successfully destroys the fleet of the Grodez-Type Heavy Battleship's in an instant. However, the energy becomes rather unstable as it also engulfs and sweeps everything from the entire planet as it becomes a gigantic fireball in space. However, the evil Great Emperor Skulldart, suddenly removes his mask revealing his true face with dark red and demonic looking eyes, while grinning evilly. Meanwhile the flames around the planet began to go out and a now visible woman's face becomes twisted as she lets out a terrifying scream before disappearing and the flames finally fade away and revealing the terrifying true form..... the massive black mechanical skeleton of a planet, its twisting ribs formed into a sphere. It is not Earth, but the forbidden Black Nebulan mother planet that the crew of the Yamato were searching for.... PLANET DEZARIUM, it's terrifying and beastly form leaving the crew of the Yamato both in shock and horror upon seeing it in all of it's evil glory. ("Be Forever Yamato")

Planet Dezarium's true form is a very nightmarish sight to behold. It's gigantic, skeletal frame gives it a truly dark, nightmarish, terrifying, and it gives off a demonic, evil presence that sends down a sense of fear and dread into the hearts of their enemies. ("Be Forever Yamato")
Being an artificial construct and man-made space station, it's possible that like the White Comet Empire's Gatlantis, it's possible that even Planet Dezarium has some method of propulsion. ("Be Forever Yamato")

Crystal City Command Center[]
This serves as the main bridge and command center with a chair in the center where Emperor Skulldart himself sits. There's also a massive viewscreen where he could watch as his enemies fall.

Planet Dezarium's exterior is very well defended by numerous deadly weapon emplacements, unmanned fortresses, and defenses to protect it from invaders that dare approach. ("Be Forever Yamato")
However it's interior artificial crystal city is well prepared as it's building are literally disguised Breakaway Missiles that are powerful enough to cripple or destroy an Earth warship. ("Be Forever Yamato")

- Planet Dezarium shares a lot in common with the Death Star from the Star Wars franchise as both were utterly massive, menacing, heavily armed, well armored, near indestructible, and menacing artificial space station constructs whose only main exploitable weakness is the very core and heart that would spell doom for every living thing aboard, if the core were destroyed.
