The Deep Space task Fleet,[2] sometimes refered to simply as the Deep Space Fleet,[3] was a fleet of the Greater Garmillan Empire's Astro Fleet under the direct command of Admiral Gul Ditz.[1] The Guipellon-class carrier Balmes served as part of the Deep Space Fleet before being transferred to the Desler fleet in 2205.[4] In the aftermath of the Rescue of Iscandar, the Earthling Commander Shiro Sanada consulted the data on planet Garmario taken from the Deep Space task Fleet database.[5]
