Das Lugens is a Greater Garmillan Empire officer serving as commander of the Astro Fleet's Frontier Defense Task Force 38. In late 2202, he participated in 8th Floating Continent Recapture Operation with the Earth joint fleet to reclaim the 8th Floating Continent from the Gatlantis Empire.[2][1]

Novelization[]

In the novelization for Space Battleship Yamato 2202, Das Lugens is the commanding officer of the Kerberos I.[3]

Behind the scenes[]

Das Lugens is the remake version of the character of the same name appearing in Space Battleship Yamato 2. He does not appear in the final version of Space Battlehsip Yamato 2202,[1] but he appears in the script and in the novelization.[3]
