Cosmo Zero's Comet 5 Type No.2 Axial-flow Cosmo engine
The Cosmo engine is the Earthling primary engine equipped on various UNCF fighters. It also has several variations such as the Composite radial-flow Cosmo engine and Axial-flow Cosmo engine.[1][2][3][4]
Axial-flow Cosmo engine[]
The Axial-flow Cosmo engine is a variant of the Cosmo engine. The Comet 5 Type No.2 Axial-flow Cosmo engine is equipped on the model 52 of the Type-0 Cosmo Zero fighter and on its unmanned variant, the Black Bird, first deployed in 2203.[2][5] The fact that the engine configuration did not change between the Cosmo Zero and the Blackbird despite the great technological advancement of the Earth forces between 2199 and 2202 shows that the Comet 5 Type No.2 already gives the aircraft sufficient capabilities even in 2202.[6] The model 51 Cosmo Zero is equipped with a Comet 5 Type No.1 Axial-flow Cosmo engine.[7]
The Cosmo Tiger I is also equipped with two Axial-flow Cosmo Engines.[8]
Composite radial-flow Cosmo engine[]
The Composite radial-flow Cosmo engine is a variant of the Cosmo engine used by the Type-99 Cosmo Falcon, the Type-1 Cosmo Tiger II, and the Cosmo Python. The Falcon uses a Meteor 35 Type Composite radial-flow Cosmo engine.[4][9][10]
Linear spike Cosmo engine[]
The Linear spike Cosmo engine is a variant of the Cosmo engine used by the Cosmo Hound, the first Earth Federation dimensional submarine, as an auxilliary engine.[11]
