Cosmo Tiger IIs being tested near the Moon
The CT (Cosmo Tactical) plan[1] was an Earth Federation plan intended to produce a new mainstay fighter aircraft for the United Nations Cosmo Navy. It was part of the larger Wave-motion Gun fleet plan. The Cosmo Tiger I, codenamed CT-1,[2] was the firest model proposed and produced for the CT plan, but it was rejected due to its size and maneuverability making it difficult to be operated as a carrier-based fighter.[3] Instead, the Cosmo Tiger II, also prototype for the CT plan, proposed as CT-2,[2] was chosen in its place.[1]
