Kirishima fires its high-pressure beam cannons
The beam cannon is an energy weapon, usually turret-mounted, primarily used by the United Nations Cosmo Force. It's also used by the Bolar Federation and the Gatlantis Empire as an auxiliary weapon.
United Nations Cosmo Force[]
Up until 2199, the high-pressure beam cannon was the primary weapon equipped on all UNCN vessels. Due to it being weaker than the positron cannon used on most Garmillas ships,[1][2] all vessels built following the Great Garmillas War replaced them with shock cannons.[3] Beam cannons continue to be used by the UNCF in their Defense Satellites and as a point-defense gun in the Dreadnought-class Vanguard Starship.[4][5]
Bolar Federation[]
The Bolar Federation uses beam cannons as auxiliary weapons on the Amanga-class Missile Battleship.[6]
Gatlantis Empire[]
24 beam cannons are equipped on the Gatlantis Empire's Calaklum Class Great Battleship, fixed into its stabilizers.[7]
