Bōsō District is a subdivision of the Far-East District. An underground city was built in the district, where a large factory area was located. While the city was abbandoned following the end of the Great Garmillas War, the reconstruction efforts made great use of the factory area, though strikes had become commonplace by 2202, slowing down production. One such instance was the Bōsō District 17th Ordnance Factory, which was taken over that year by the Workers' Union.[1][2]
A spaceport was built in Bōsō District in order to connect the factory area to space and to the rest of planet Earth. However, around 2202, most military-related prodiction bases began transferring to large factory areas built near the New Capital, and most facilities in the Bōsō District industrial zone being sold to private companies, such as a private space transport company owned by the former UNCN sailor Bando. The company's HQ, including its founder's office, is located in a tall building overlooking the spaceport.[1]
