Former Imperial Guard Director Hydom Gimleh was arrested in early 2203 by the Garmillas Provisional Government. The thought-to-be-dead Gimleh had secretly founded and led the Desler Regime Revivalists to restore Desler's dictatorship. His location was discovered by an agent of the Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency, Klaus Keyman, after a months-long undercover mission within the Desler Regime Revivalists.[3][1]

Prelude[]

Keyman burrel flashback

Burrell gives Keyman his mission

The Desler Regime Revivalists were a group of political criminals that emerged in the aftermath of the fall of the Desler administration with the aim of re-imposing a dictatorship over the Greater Garmillan Empire. They were headed by Hydom Gimleh, former director of the Imperial Guard, who managed to keep his identity secret despite being hunted by the Garmillas Security Intelligence Agency.[3]

In 2202, Loren Burrell of the Security Intelligence Agency gave Lieutenant Klaus Keyman, whose real identity was Ranhardt Desler, nephew of the fallen dictator Abelt Desler, an undercover mission within the ranks of the Revivalists. In March 2023, Keyman found himself on Terezart aboard the Earthling battleship Yamato, when his thought-to-be-dead uncle resurfaced.[3]

The arrest[]

Keyman joined Desler aboard his flagship and sent news of his return to the Revivalists. Gimleh decided to directly contact Desler's forces, which gave away his position and identity.[3] Keyman immediately relayed these information to Burrell, who made the Garmillas National Security Police storm the Revivalists' headquarters, arresting Gimleh and dissolving his organization.[3][1]

Aftermath[]

In May, Burrell publicly announced the arrest on Garmillan television. Watching the broadcast, Desler realized that, with his allies on Garmillas in prison, he had no way of regaining his lost throne. Thus, he was forced to collaborate with the Gatlantis Empire.[1]
