The 10cannon HEAVYSTRIKER Amaterasu[7] (AAA-06) was a UNCN Andromeda-class gunboat of the AAA Advanced Stage type. It was built for the Decisive Battle off Mars, but it was stationed in orbit of the Earth for its defense. It was sunk early in the Golem Assault Battle.[7][4]
Armaments and technical specifications[]
Amaterasu was built as an independent assault battleship capable of carrying out hit-and-run attacks on enemy groups. The bow was equipped with a thrust point to reinforce its Wave-Motion Shield to reinforce the ship for ramming attacks. For the same reason, the bridge had a lower design. The ship was also equipped with a condenser which accumulated energy from the Wave Core to supply it large in amounts to the main batteries and shield.[1]

- Amaterasu is named after the sun goddess of japanese shintoism, the name had previously been used by the UNCF as a codename for Sheherzade, the iscandarian ship which brought Sasha Iscandar to Earth
