Really like the Gatlantean alphabet. Did you come up with the Bolar script on your own or is it seen on screen somewhere?
I found it in X

Idk if this is official or fanmade
Holy crap, this account is a goldmine! they're the first user, japanese or not, that I see realize the inconsistency in the spellings of Galman/Garmann and Desler/Dessler we see on-screen. It's so incredibly interesting.
I'm trying to understand whether it's official or fan made.
Ok, it actually seems to be real. It's fromthe Concept Design Reader for chapter 3, a bonus booklet from the blu-ray set. The image is not the original, but the characters are the same.
Well, you've just inadvertently given us a pretty darn good find.
I think Bolar script is based on Hangul and Kana
The Bolar script combines consonants and vowels to form syllables, similar to Hangul.
Its phonetic system is comparable to that of Kana.
Ex
Bolar script: I(K) + =(i) = 工(Ki)
Hangul: ㅋ(K) + ㅣ(i) = 키(ki)
Yes, phonetically it's the same as Japanese, and the system definitely resembles Hangul graphically.
The funny thing is that this means that the Bolar script cannot properly write many official Bolar names and words (including the word Bolar itself lol). Actually, thet can't even *pronounce* the name Bolar, since they canonically don't distinguish between L and R, like the Japanese.
This of course has a canon explanation on the Bolar (language) page, but I still find it incredibly funny.

So, I was so confused when I was drawing this bolar fan art LOL
What do you think?
